BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Richardson Olmsted Campus is one of Buffalo's most iconic pieces of architecture and there is so much to explore!
It's featured in a new book called 100 things to do in Buffalo before you die by Elizabeth Licata.
The Richardson Olmsted Campus opened in 1880 as a state-of-the-art State Asylum for the Insane. After patients were moved from the campus in 1970, it deteriorated and was abandoned. It later was added to the National Register of Historic Places, one of eight in Buffalo.
