The Lipsey Architecture Center Buffalo with Glessner House (Chicago), Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House, Preservation Buffalo Niagara and the Richardson Olmsted Campus present a conversation on historic places and the value of their preservation. The event was held at Duende at Silo City.
The evening began with a presentation by Executive Director William Tyre of the Glessner House. (The Glessner House in Chicago, like The Richardson Olmsted Campus, was designed by famed architect H.H. Richardson.) It was followed by a panel discussion with the executive directors from The Richardson Olmsted Campus, Glessner House, Preservation Buffalo Niagara and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House. The discussion focused on what is required to save and manage some of the United States’ most iconic structures.
