From May 29th to June 1st 2025, the Richardson Olmsted Campus teamed with the Society of Industrial Archeology for their 2025 annual conference. Campus welcomed nearly 100 architects, historians, and engineers from around the country to explore Western New York’s rich architectural heritage. Academic paper sessions occurred, and a Buffalo industrial architecture guidebook was produced for the event as well by Cultural Curator Patrick F. Ryan and Professor Annie Schentag.
