BUFFALO, NY – The Richardson Olmsted Campus is excited to announce that they will be serving as a new co-host of the 17th Annual Artists in Buffalo Holiday Open Studios and Galleries.
The annual Artists in Buffalo Holiday Open Studios and Galleries is a unique opportunity to visit over 100 talented local artists and artisans in extraordinary galleries, studios, homes and other venues not frequently open to the public. Printed hand-out maps with all venues will be available at each location.
Visitors can get a sneak peek at the future home of the permanent exhibit for the Lipsey Architecture Center of Buffalo and shop from over 20 local vendors offering everything from specialty food, pottery, art, to custom glass work.
The architecture center is located on the lower level of the iconic Richardson Towers Buildings and will be brimming with holiday artists and vendors. The future Lipsey Architecture Center, opening in 2018, will feature exhibits spotlighting masterpieces of Buffalo’s architecture and encouraging visitors to explore all the city and Western New York has to offer.
The list of vendors expected at the Richardson Olmsted Campus this weekend includes Kissed By The Sun Spice Company, Hawkmoon Soaps, FilmXposed, Kevlin Kreations, Lily-Kat Designs, Creekside Art & Pottery, Pitek Art, and over fifteen more established top quality artisan vendors.
The event will be held as a fundraiser for the future exhibits with a basket raffle and merchants donating a percentage of sales to the Richardson.
Parking on-site is limited. There will be valet parking available throughout the weekend for $10 per car in Hotel Henry’s Lots 1 and 2. Free parking is available in Lot 3 and free on-street parking can be found on Forest Avenue, Richmond Avenue, and its side streets. Street parking on Elmwood Avenue is free on the weekends.
